Matthew 5:38-42

Jesus teaches us to love forgiveness, mercy, and charity over seeking justice for ourselves and defending our personal rights. Christ suffered wrong and injustice in order for us who were evil to be freed from the just wrath of God. How much more should we suffer wrong and injustice without seeking retaliation?
