Matthew 1:1-17

To fully appreciate the birth of Christ we must know something of his family. That is why Matthew begins with Jesus' family tree. Jesus is heir of the promise made to Abraham and the promise made to David. He inherits a Kingdom that will never end in a land that will never die. He came so that he might bring us into that eternal home.
