Matthew 2:13-23

Jesus fulfilled all that was written about him in the Old Testament. Matthew pulls out some of the prophecies fulfilled in Christ’s birth to show that he really was the promised deliverer, and what kind of deliverer he was. Ultimately, we see that Jesus reveals God’s faithful love and mercy to all who humbly seek for his Son in Scripture.
