Colossians 2:8-23 

Paul warns the church that external rules and human religion are completely ineffective in both salvation and sanctification. It is only through being joined to the death and resurrection of Christ by the supernatural work of God that condemnation of the law is removed from us. We must therefore cling to Christ alone for salvation and godly fruit in our lives.
