The climax of contradiction for the Kingdom-mindset is our rejoicing in persecution. When we consider hatred and mistreatment by the world to be an honor and joy, we show how fully we have traded this world for eternity. Persecution for the sake of Christ comes to us in many forms, but all of it is recorded and rewarded by God.
