God’s desire is not just that we keep from physical acts of sexual impurity, but that we are completely pure of heart. Every form of lust is rebellion against God’s design and discontentment with his provision. We must do violence TO whatever cravings of the flesh cause us to fall short of God’s holy standard - uprooting them from our hearts.
