Matthew 7:6

After warning us not to cary a judgmental attitude towards others, Christ instructs his listeners to exercise discernment. There are people who show themselves to be hard-hearted and blasphemous of the gospel. Rather than exposing the teaching of God to public ridicule, and themselves to unnecessary persecution, Christians are told to abandon such people to their own condemned thinking.
