Matthew 19:13-15

Jesus forever dignified children when, instead of descending from Heaven as a full grown king upon his noble steed, he grew in the womb of a woman and was born an infant of no status in a makeshift nursery. He again raised the status of children when he beckoned them unto himself, and forbid that they should be hindered in approaching him. It is the responsibility of parents and the entire church to embrace and include children in the life of the church, and see that they are raised in the knowledge of the Lord and given every help in trusting in him.
