Matthew 14:1-13a

Those who had refused John the Baptist’s message to repent of their sin, who despised rebuke, had no way prepared in their heart to receive Christ. If we love sin, we will reject Christ. If we renounce our sin, our hearts are ready to believe in Christ for forgiveness.
