Matthew 21:1-11

Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem was the earthly climax of his ministry where he openly revealed that he was the promised Messiah and King come to deliver his people; and he stirred up the people to rally around him. However, he was also revealing his humility and that he came not as the conqueror they sought, but that his deliverance would be of a different sort. May all our worship to him be both exuberant, and deeply rooted in the truth of what Christ has revealed about himself.
