God’s terrible judgment and destruction of of Israel brought about by the Roman army in 70AD is a remarkable example of the fulfillment of prophecy and testifies to the truth of all Christ’s teaching. It also comforts us as a type of the judgment coming at the end of the world, and God’s ability to preserve his people even as he pours out his wrath on his enemies.
