Matthew 27:62-66; 28:11-15

Matthew presents the prevailing theory of his day against the resurrection as strong evidence for it. The historical account of the empty tomb invites us all to “come and see the place where he lay” and to believe that Christ is risen from the dead. Unbelief is not ultimately a problem of being unconvinced, but hardness of heart.
