Matthew 27:55-61

Though all his disciples had forsaken him and his soul had felt the full misery of the enemies of God, the Father arranged for several kindness to be shown to Christ’s body as a beginning of the exultation that was to come. The bodies of saints today rest in hope of resurrection in the same way as Christ our fore-runner’s body did.
