Proverbs 1:8-19

The reader is encouraged to heed the counsel of parents and find the slow patient reward of honor and grace that come from walking the path of the instruction of the mature, rather than cave to the false promises of quick and easy gain from boastful peers who believe they have found a “better” way to live.
