Worship Service - Sundays, 9:30AM
Nursery is provided for babies and toddlers in the education wing of the building while kids, teens, and adults worship together in the sanctuary. Just before the sermon, elementary-aged kids are dismissed for Kids Church. We meet together because we value "Family Worship".
The worship service is about an hour and half long and includes time for singing theologically rich and musically creative songs to God, communion for all believers, pastoral prayer, and exegetical teaching from the Bible. The sermon is straight from the Bible, rather than the ideas of the pastor. Afterward, there is coffee, donuts, and a chance to build friendships and catch up with each other.
Classes - Sundays, 11AM
We offer classes for people of all ages, adults and kids, from 11AM-12PM. Adults meet downstairs to read and discuss books together. They share prayer requests and support each other. Youth meet upstairs, by age.
Potluck - First Sundays, 12PM
On the first Sunday of every month, we gather for dinner and fellowship. Everyone brings a dish to share as we spend the afternoon together.
Bible Studies - Weekdays
Weekday Bible Studies are held in small gatherings at the church and in homes. Everyone gets instruction and hands-on practice in studying the Bible as they examine the context of the passage, discover the meaning, and draw out practical application. At the same time, deep relationships are developed with each other.
Missions
We are delighted to partner with outstanding ministries in our community and across the globe. Our missionaries are serving in Asia, Africa, South America, and locally. To keep the connection close, we travel to encourage one of our missionaries on-site every other year.
Hospitality
Some of the best cooks in the world attend and serve HCC! Our Outreach team and Ladies Aid put on fellowship meals, host social events, run fundraisers, and provide funeral dinners for grieving families.
